Attack types are attributes held by all weapons that determine strengths and weaknesses when attacking Abductors. Abductors resist certain attack types while being weak to others, and these weaknesses vary between Abductors.
The Cutting attack type is the attribute of slicing and severing.
This attack type is held by all Light Melee weapons, the Aftershadow, and the Phalanx.
The Impact attack type is the attribute of smashing and crushing.
This attack type is held by all heavy melee weapons save for the Aftershadow, as well as the Exodus.
The Piercing attack type is the attribute of penetration and piercing of armor.
This attack type is held by all polearms save for the Exodus, as well as the Dragonfang.
The Projectile attack type is the attack type of fired bullets and other projectiles.
This attack type is held by all guns save for the Phalanx and the Dragonfang.
